A scarce First World War period Canadian Expeditionary Force '46th Infantry Battalion CEF sweetheart brooch' gilt and enamel maple leaf bearing Crowned shield with "South Saskatchewan" Coat of Arm and scroll below, further scrolls "XLVI Overseas" and "Canada". Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, perfect enamel, gilt remains slightly worn, an excellent example.
